Let the stressing begin

My first real pay day is this Friday and most people usually bounce off walls when they receive money. Me on the other hand? Stressing out about budgets regarding my study abroad trip (and yes, I actually made a binder for it okay don't judge me). If I can't even handle something as simple as budgeting, how will I make it in the real world when it comes to finances and filing my taxes?? I still have so much left to do and although I have around two months to do it all, it's a little more difficult when I'm at work most of the time. I still have to:
  • Make updated budgets for each category (housing, meals, travel, university fees, etc)
  • Make a list of things I need
  • Buy said things I need
  • Finish watching all of my pre-departure videos (let's be real, this would be a lot easier if I didn't have the attention span of a flea)
  • Contact all of the airlines and confirm the size of my luggage
  • Figure out if I want to switch my seat on the flight to Rome next to some of my fellow study abroaders
  • Make folders of important documents for myself and my parents
  • Look up hostels for different places I plan on visiting (this one results in unattractive nail-biting)
Fortunately, my mom bought new luggage not too long ago so I don't have to worry about that. Fitting four months of my life into said luggage is going to be a completely different story. If you haven't noticed by now, I'm a perfectionist. I just want to make sure everything is taken care of before I leave so I don't have a melt down abroad, that's the last thing Italy needs to witness. Well I definitely know what I'll be doing this weekend...67 days and counting!
